Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

This is a key leadership role that oversees the delivery of engineering projects from inception to completion. The Senior Project Engineer will lead a team of professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Liaising with subcontractors to guarantee that all work is carried out in accordance with technical, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Conducting site surveys throughout the project to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Supporting the Project Manager in maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence to our Management System.
  • Collaborating with the Construction Manager to maintain project timelines.
  • Serving as a focal point for technical queries related to civil/structural subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Providing expert advice to subcontractors/suppliers.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in preparing monthly reports and attending meetings with clients.
Key Requirements
  • Civil Engineering qualification (Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in design, construction, and commissioning, preferably on Brownfields and Greenfields projects.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to build effective relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Australian standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
