Job Summary:

The Program Lead will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, accessible housing.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position that requires an experienced property professional to manage end-to-end housing development projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing feasibility, approvals, procurement, contracts, and construction
  • Leading transparent procurement and contracting processes
  • Identifying and analysing new development opportunities
  • Providing expert advice to Executive Management and Board
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, government, and community partners

About you:

  • Experience in project management within property development, construction, or community housing
  • Strong financial capability, including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and investment modelling
  • Understanding of compliance, permits, and approvals (SDA Design Standards highly regarded)
  • Ability to engage confidently with contractors, tenants, government, and community stakeholders
  • Solutions-focused, values-driven approach and genuine commitment to creating social impact
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience in managing complex property development projects from concept to completion.
  • Financial Capability: Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and investment analysis.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Understanding of compliance regulations, permits, and approvals required for property development projects.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, government, and community partners.
