Laboratory Support Specialist

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to assist laboratory staff in performing a range of laboratory support and specimen reception services.
The successful candidate will contribute to a patient-focused service, providing assistance under supervision with tasks such as stock control, equipment maintenance, administrative duties, and ensuring accurate specimen identification, data entry, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with laboratory support and/or specimen reception services and/or collection services
- Deliver a patient-focused service by providing assistance to laboratory staff under supervision
- Maintain high quality work output while managing competing priorities
- Communicate effectively with customers, patients, and clinical staff
- A working knowledge of the laboratory environment relevant to the role
- Demonstrated customer service experience and skills, preferably in a laboratory setting
- Excellent data entry skills including high attention to detail and data accuracy
