Job Description

As a Proactive Cost Management Specialist at Turner & Townsend, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.

You will work closely with our team to plan, manage, and control costs on various projects, ensuring that we meet our clients' expectations and deliver value-added services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cost planning and analysis
  • Tender administration and recommendation
  • Post-contract cost management (variations, payment recommendations, final account agreement)
  • Client management and communication
  • Internal stakeholder management and communication
  • Contribution to improving our service offering
  • Preparation of key cost management reports in a timely manner
  • Risk and opportunity identification and communication with clients
  • Effective client expectation management through excellent communication
  • Maintenance of highest standards of governance and quality assurance

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar field
  • Sound experience in cost planning, particularly in Education and Healthcare government projects
  • 4+ years of experience in cost management roles with an emphasis on consultancy
  • Excellent client management, communication, and leadership skills
  • CostX experience is preferable
