About Us:

CASACIR has been delivering high-quality construction materials to the community for over 15 years.

We are seeking an experienced Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Neerim North Quarry, Neerim VIC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the safety of employees and subcontractors, in line with legislative requirements and the Mine Safety Management Plan.
  • Meeting and achieving production targets.
  • Implementing quality control measures in accordance with client requirements and the site-specific Quarry Management Plan.
  • Managing environmental responsibilities, adhering to legislative requirements and the site-specific Environmental Management Plan.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinating truck drivers, product deliveries, and associated tasks.
  • Developing and executing quarry development and ongoing production plans.
  • Conducting hazard identification through the active completion of the risk assessment process.

Requirements:

  • Ability to execute tasks as instructed by the Quarry Manager.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Current driver's license, preferably HR or HC.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement strategies.
  • Knowledge and experience with fixed and mobile crushing plants.
  • Knowledge and experience with earthmoving/quarry machinery.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing production costs versus budget.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with various plant equipment, including front-end loaders and excavators.
  • Adaptability.
