Excavation Specialist for Dynamic Quarry Operations

We are currently seeking an experienced Excavation Specialist to join our dynamic team at Neerim North Quarry in Victoria. As an essential member of our operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating mobile plant equipment, including Front End Loaders, Dump Trucks, and Excavators
  • Maintaining daily quarry operations and performing regular maintenance on various vehicles, plant, and equipment
  • Conducting daily pre-start checks on plant equipment
  • Participating in daily toolbox talks and contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  • Developing a thorough understanding of CASACIR's WHS policies and procedures
  • Following instructions from the Quarry Supervisor

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience operating various plant equipment, including Front End Loaders, Dump Trucks, and Excavators
  • A valid driver's license and White Card
  • Previous experience working in a quarry environment
  • Relevant RII tickets (not essential)
  • The ability to work proactively, using initiative and organization skills
  • The capacity to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
