An exciting opportunity is available for a proactive and highly skilled Business Analyst to become part of our team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Productivity, you will offer expert strategic advice to facilitate the creation and execution of effective business strategies, driving the achievement of corporate objectives. As a vital member of the team, you will monitor business performance and deliver comprehensive insights and analyses that support informed decision-making processes, ensuring the organization remains aligned with its goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, evaluate, and interpret financial, HR, safety, and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and areas for enhancement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to comprehend their data analysis needs and convert these into analytical models and reports
  • Utilize analytical skills to bolster productivity and project-related initiatives, providing insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning
  • Assess both financial and non-financial data to facilitate thorough business performance evaluations

Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in roles centered on data analysis, financial modeling, and business intelligence
  • Proficient in utilizing business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in data collection and analysis, with the ability to prepare and present analytical reports and findings to influence and support business decisions and strategies
  • Experience in project management or productivity enhancement within the mining or related sectors is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A collaborative mindset, along with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively engage with diverse groups and present complex data in an actionable format
  • Degree in business administration, commerce, finance, or a related field
