An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic and highly skilled Business Analyst to become part of our team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Productivity, you will provide expert strategic insights to aid in the formulation and execution of effective business strategies, driving the achievement of organizational objectives. As a key member of the team, you will monitor business performance and deliver comprehensive insights and analyses that support informed decision-making processes, ensuring the organization remains aligned with its goals.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, evaluate, and interpret financial, HR, safety, and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and areas for enhancement Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to comprehend their analytical needs and translate these into actionable models and reports Employ analytical skills to support productivity and project-related initiatives, providing insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning Assess both financial and non-financial data to facilitate comprehensive business performance evaluationsRequired Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in roles focused on data analysis, financial modeling, and business intelligence Proficient in utilizing business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel Proven track record in data collection and analysis, with the ability to prepare and present analytical reports and findings that influence and support business strategies Experience in project management or productivity enhancement within the mining or related sectors is advantageous but not mandatory A collaborative mindset, along with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to effectively engage with diverse groups and present complex data in an actionable format Degree in business administration, commerce, finance, or a related disciplineWork Environment
