Job Description

The role of Residential Caregiver involves providing high-quality care to residents in a residential aged care environment. This includes attending to resident personal hygiene needs, assisting with medication administration, and ensuring that nutritional and hydration needs are satisfied.

As a Residential Caregiver, you will work as part of a dedicated team who is committed to supporting residents in achieving independence and quality of life. You will be responsible for observing and reporting changes in resident behaviour and wellbeing, and for responding to requests from residents and attending to urgent needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people. They will also possess strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families / representatives.
