Job Title: Principal Engineer - Secondary Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team at Consolidated Power Projects Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our in-house team, you will be responsible for designing and developing secondary high-voltage systems for our extra high-voltage substations and overhead lines.

About the Role:
  • Lead the creation of top-tier designs for secondary high-voltage systems
  • Direct the development of circuity designs, protection schemes, and protection relays
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance secondary engineering excellence
  • Contribute to the advancement of our various flagship projects
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years experience at a senior level with substation design and/or utility grid connections
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor others
  • Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
  • High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
