Civil Estimation Specialist

Exciting opportunity for a Civil Estimator to deliver accurate civil estimates on complex infrastructure projects. As a key member of our tender and construction team, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans, specifications, and scopes of work to develop comprehensive estimates.
About the RoleThis role offers a unique chance to work on diverse land development, road infrastructure, and water/sewer upgrade projects. You will collaborate closely with our leadership team to achieve challenging project objectives while contributing to an inclusive people-first culture.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- First principle estimating experience
- Proficiency in estimating software, ideally Expert software, and MS Excel
- Project planning skills and proficiency in MS Project program
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or trade qualifications, along with at least 10 years' experience in the Civil Construction industry, is required.

Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive estimates based on project plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotes
- Collaborate with the tender and construction team to establish effective construction methodologies and risk management strategies
- Prepare detailed tender submission documents with strong writing skills
