**Operational Readiness Expert**

AusNet's emergency preparedness program requires a dedicated professional to oversee its coordination. As an operational readiness expert, you will work cross-functionally to enhance emergency preparedness systems, processes, and capabilities.

This role is part of the high-performing team driving operational excellence in emergency management. When joining the organization, you'll collaborate with genuine people working together to achieve real progress.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in emergency management, including development and maintenance of plans and arrangements, as well as knowledge of energy transmission and distribution networks. A tertiary qualification or formal training in emergency management is advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of the end-to-end coordination of the Incident Management Team Program, including rostering and readiness.
  • Collaboration with regional and municipal emergency management planning committees.
  • Development and maintenance of enterprise emergency management plans, procedures, and processes.
