Job Overview

A highly skilled Business Development Manager is required to promote a portfolio of solutions, including industrial automation, motors, and motor control, and LV power distribution products to Industrial Contractors, OEMs, System Integrators, and large End Users throughout the Brisbane Metro and Bundaberg Region.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales action plans aligned with the state strategy.
  • Research and identify new prospects and sales opportunities, while developing and establishing key accounts.
  • Organise and plan face-to-face meetings with active/prospective customers per week.
  • Establish senior-level relationships with customers.
  • Follow a sales process to effectively qualify, develop, and close customer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with local and national teams to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Supply accurate information to the management team through CRM.

Requirements:

  • An electrical trade or engineering qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Solid sales experience coupled with an industrial automation background.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, learn, and create solutions.
