Alumni Engagement Specialist

The Alumni Relationship Officer role has evolved into a key position in building and deepening connections within our alumni community, developing engagement initiatives, and driving giving. This strategic role reports to the Philanthropy and Alumni Relations team, responsible for philanthropic activity across the University.

Main Responsibilities
  • Build lifelong relationships with the University through one-on-one meetings, events, and online interactions.
  • Foster proactive engagement to understand who, where, and what our alumni are doing, executing suitable activities for different types of alumni.
  • Support faculty collaboration with the alumni community to ensure strategic priorities align and revenue generation is maximized.
  • Manage alumni queries via email and phone, resolving or escalating as necessary.
  • Support the annual giving program to build and deepen alumni giving across cohorts.
  • Coordinate alumni events as required and provide support for large events.
  • Analyze data to inform engagement strategies, execute email campaigns, social media, and alumni outreach.
