ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic at JJ's, you will be responsible for servicing our diverse fleet at our depot. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your duties will include comprehensive preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy rigid vehicles, focusing on systems such as brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication. CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Possess trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic specializing in Heavy Commercial Vehicles
  • Light Vehicle Mechanics or 3rd/4th year Heavy Vehicle Apprentices are encouraged to apply
  • Exhibit a keen attention to detail
  • Successfully complete pre-employment medical and drug testing
  • Hold a HR and forklift license (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude
