Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Early Career Researcher to join our team at the Scottish Dementia Research Consortium. As a researcher in dementia care, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of improving the lives of people living with dementia and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in dementia care, focusing on the experiences and needs of people living with dementia and their families.
  • Develop and implement research projects, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
  • Collaborate with our team of researchers, clinicians, and stakeholders to advance our understanding of dementia care.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals, grant applications, and publications.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your research skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field, such as psychology, sociology, or health sciences.
  • Experience in research methods, including data collection and analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
