About the Role

HiTech Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in a high-profile Federal Government department. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the delivery of complex high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Provide strategic and high-level advice to senior executives on project execution and governance.
  • Financial Management: Support the Project Director and team in tracking and reporting financial activities.
  • Resource Management: Monitor resource usage (financial, staff effort, etc.) against the project plan.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish a work plan for continuous improvement and document lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience and proven track record in the successful management of complex high-value projects.
  • Research and Development: Experience working in a research and development setting.
  • Commonwealth Government: Experience in project management within the Commonwealth Government.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to effectively liaise with and provide direction to diverse and geographically separated project teams.
