Housekeeping Porter

This is a comprehensive job description for the position of Housekeeping Porter.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain all house and kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hotel's food preparation and storerooms.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks in the restaurant(s), kitchen(s) and all food outlets within the hotel, including waste disposal and recycling.
  • Ensure hygiene and health and safety standards are consistently met, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and exceeding expectations where possible.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience handling chemicals and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • A valid and current qualification in food hygiene or a similar field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects, with a high level of stamina and endurance.
