Our Kitchen Steward Opportunity

Mindil Beach Casino Resort is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Kitchen Steward. As a key member of the food and beverage production team, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness across all kitchen areas, ensuring that buffets and functions are set up and cleared efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless operations during peak periods.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain at onboarding
  • Knowledge of HACCP and WH&S safety standards
  • Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster, including public holidays and weekends
  • Good communication skills and cultural awareness in a multi-cultural workplace

As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring cleanliness in all food & beverage production areas
  • Setting up and clearing buffets and functions with attention to detail
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Managing tasks effectively during peak times
  • Working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
