We are currently seeking a dedicated support professional to join our team in South Wentworthville.

This is a part-time hourly rate position with flexible working hours. In this role, you will assist clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home.

  • The successful candidate will be required to deliver active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans.
  • You will be responsible for assisting with daily personal care tasks such as toileting, showering and dressing.
  • Safe manual handling techniques will be used in accordance with individual plans.
  • Community access and transport will be facilitated using Unisson vehicles or public transport.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders is essential.
  • Achieving accurate documentation, reports and records is crucial in this role.
  • Collaboration within a close-knit team is necessary.
  • An incident response plan must be adhered to in line with relevant guidelines.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily personal care, facilitate community access, respond appropriately to incidents, maintain accurate records.

Working Hours: 47.5 hours per fortnight

Salary: $34.58 plus applicable penalty rates
