Reinvigorating young minds through the beautiful game is a dynamic and rewarding experience. We are seeking an energetic Youth Soccer Coach to lead our team in South Nashville.

The ideal candidate will inspire and engage toddlers to preteens with interactive pre-soccer classes, focusing on introducing balance, coordination, cognitive skills, and more through music and movement.

Our perfect fit has prior experience as a sports coach, teacher, camp leader, or in a similar role, with a passion for working with young children and early childhood education or child development.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans based on our existing curriculum
  • Teach soccer skills, physical literacy, and life skills to small groups of children, promoting teamwork and respect
  • Maintain a positive, fun, and safe learning environment for all participants
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular progress reports and addressing any concerns or questions
  • Model and promote sportsmanship, respect for self and others, and excellent coaching techniques
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance coaching skills and knowledge of our curriculum
  • Assist with setup and cleanup of equipment and supplies for classes and events
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with children/toddlers/infants
  • Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and patience
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass background checks
