Job Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Mine Closure Engineer or Geoscientist to join our team.

This position provides technical expertise for delivering leading mine closure consulting services through an integrated life of mine approach.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced understanding of environmental and engineering principles to progress and lead delivery of new approaches.
  • Provide leadership, training, technical guidance, strategic guidance, and mentorship to the operations team.
  • Collate and assist in preparation of technical documentation, proposals, and reports in area of technical discipline.
  • Provide peer and technical review of reports developed by others.
  • Lead in development of closure costings, cost estimation, and closure scheduling.
  • Project, client, and contractor management.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction within integrated mine closure projects.
  • Assist in development of conceptual models in support of mine waste storage facility closure plan development.
  • Prepare for and hold workshops and risk assessments with variety of stakeholders and external project support.
  • Interact competently with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of expertise.
  • Develop strong relationships within the mining industry, foster existing client relationships, and leverage client relationships to generate new leads and opportunities.
