Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex engineering projects from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver engineering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Lead and participate in project meetings, including status updates, issue resolution, and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on engineering projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, and Jira.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Experience working in a defense industry environment.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
