Veterinary Clinical Leadership Opportunity in Sydney

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced veterinarian to drive excellence in veterinary care across multiple locations in Sydney, New South Wales.
About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled leader to oversee and guide veterinarians and clinic teams within your designated region, ensuring delivery of exceptional veterinary care and high quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake clinical days to work with teams and build strong relationships
- Oversee and guide veterinarians and clinic teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, client satisfaction, and overall clinic performance
- Ensure safety of teams by reviewing compliance safety controls and adherence to Veterinary Surgeons Board Guidelines and Legislation
- Collaborate with other leaders to drive high standards of care and best practices
- Support recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians and staff within your region
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology
Requirements:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine and registration to practice in New South Wales
- Proven leadership experience in a veterinary setting with successful team management
- Advanced skills such as memberships in small animal surgery with the ability to perform orthopaedic surgery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships
- PASSION FOR DELIVERING EXCELLENT VETERINARY CARE AND DRIVING CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Innovative mindset and ability to adapt to the evolving veterinary industry
- Willingsness to travel between clinics and help other regions cover leave or extra workloads
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum
