Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced veterinarian to drive excellence in veterinary care across multiple locations in Sydney, New South Wales.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled leader to oversee and guide veterinarians and clinic teams within your designated region, ensuring delivery of exceptional veterinary care and high quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake clinical days to work with teams and build strong relationships
  • Oversee and guide veterinarians and clinic teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, client satisfaction, and overall clinic performance
  • Ensure safety of teams by reviewing compliance safety controls and adherence to Veterinary Surgeons Board Guidelines and Legislation
  • Collaborate with other leaders to drive high standards of care and best practices
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians and staff within your region
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology

Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine and registration to practice in New South Wales
  • Proven leadership experience in a veterinary setting with successful team management
  • Advanced skills such as memberships in small animal surgery with the ability to perform orthopaedic surgery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships
  • PASSION FOR DELIVERING EXCELLENT VETERINARY CARE AND DRIVING CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Innovative mindset and ability to adapt to the evolving veterinary industry
  • Willingsness to travel between clinics and help other regions cover leave or extra workloads

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum
