Job Title

A Manager of Strategic Campaigns is required to drive supporter engagement and systemic change. This role combines leadership with strong project management, public engagement, strategic insight, and political acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Strategy & Leadership: Design and lead national campaigns that empower supporters and deliver policy wins.
  • Project and Team Management: Oversee campaign staff and contractors, develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Political Strategy & Advocacy: Lead lobbying efforts, prepare briefings, talking points, and strategic submissions.
  • Media and Public Narrative: Act as a spokesperson and support everyday people to share their stories confidently.
  • Supporter Engagement & Mobilisation: Develop clear supporter journeys, deliver supporter-facing actions, and oversee timelines.
  • Fundraising & Resourcing: Collaborate with the CEO and Fundraising Director to identify fundraising opportunities linked to campaign activity.
Requirements

Essential: 5+ years experience in advocacy, campaigning, organizing or public affairs, proven ability to manage complex projects from strategy through delivery.

Desirable: Experience with supporter/donor fundraising, knowledge of renewable energy or clean energy policy.
