Job Description

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining MEX systems across the business. Your goal will be to ensure consistency and reliability in meeting preventive and scheduled maintenance objectives. You will coordinate purchasing processes to secure effective supply of necessary materials and services while achieving optimal value.

You will develop and maintain appropriate documentation and systems that incorporate legislated OHS and Food Safety requirements. Ensuring all plant items are entered and maintained up-to-date within the MEX system is also part of your duties.

Another key responsibility is training and supporting users (operators, maintenance employees, contractors, and suppliers) to be competent in their respective duties within the maintenance system. Regular reporting as specified by the business will also be provided.

Lastly, you will support continuous improvement initiatives through effective implementation of maintenance management systems and processes. Managing relationships with contractors, service providers, and suppliers is an essential aspect of this role.Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A trade certification in Mechanical or Electrical, or relevant tertiary qualifications in Planned Maintenance.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a manufacturing planned maintenance role.
  • Demonstrated high-level MEX experience in a complex business environment.
  • A thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, machinery operations, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
  • Highly developed MS Office skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously while fostering teamwork.
  • SAP experience is desirable.
