Commis Chef Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality dishes across various outlets.
  • Manage supplies, equipment, and waste to meet service requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness to local standards.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to menu development and daily specials.
  • Collaborate with kitchen teams for smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Proven ability to manage a section independently.
  • Possess passion for food, quality, and continuous learning.
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.
  • Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
