We are seeking a highly skilled Water Infrastructure Planner to join our team in South East Queensland. As a key member of our Integrated Water Planning business, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and timely valued water network planning solutions.
With a strong focus on flexibility, sustainability, optimisation, integration, whole-of-lifecycle cost, and acceptable risk, you will work closely with clients to provide water solutions that contribute to liveable and water-sensitive cities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project delivery and contributing to growing, shaping, and maintaining our Integrated Water Planning business.
- Business development, including client engagement, proposal preparation, and bid management for clients including major and regional urban utilities, developers, local and state government, etc.
- Proactive delivery of high-quality and timely valued water network planning solutions.
- Checking and review of project outputs, including project deliverables (calculations, specifications, reports) through to technical verification and peer review (as appropriate to level of experience).
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintaining a high-performing, engaged, and supportive team culture.
Requirements:
- Ideal 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience.
- Demonstrated network planning experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options and proficiency in hydraulic network modeling of water and/or wastewater systems.
- Understanding of current and potential future policy, practice, trends, technology, and information affecting water planning, including drivers, regulation, framework, and guidelines.
- Proven track record in the successful delivery of large projects on time, within budget, and outstanding quality.
- Excellent communication skills and high-quality technical and non-technical report writing.
- Client relationship/management skills and experience.
