AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Water Infrastructure Team Lead to join our Water Infrastructure group in South East Queensland (SEQ). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of water infrastructure projects, providing guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, and ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of water infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment, dams, and asset management.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
- Coordinate, manage, and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
- Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and within budget for projects in planning, design, and/or construction support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications & RPEQ / CPEng
- Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment
- Experience in leading project / technical teams
- Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
- Passion for delivering high-quality work & excellent Client and stakeholder engagement skills.
