Emergency Response Professional

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Response Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our Compliance function by coordinating all aspects of emergency response procedures and systems.

The primary focus will be to ensure these processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating Mines Rescue teams to ensure compliance with minimum legislated manning levels and competencies.
  • Providing specialist advice on emergency response for both underground and surface operations.
  • Managing all First Aid, Mines Rescue, and Firefighting equipment, ensuring that training, maintenance, and inspections are carried out as per legal requirements.
  • Recording and reporting on the status of site emergency equipment and overall emergency preparedness.
  • Organising and delivering emergency response training for site personnel, including the proper use of associated equipment.
Requirements:
  • Extensive underground mining experience.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Fire Officer certification and valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Demonstrated experience in Mines Rescue operations.
  • Strong commitment to safety and excellent relationship-building skills.
