Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Trainee to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Advanced Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain further experience in general principles of rehabilitation medicine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a rehabilitation consultative service to inpatients and non-inpatients within the facilities of the Rehabilitation Network. They will also assist in the development and implementation of goal-oriented rehabilitation plans and coordinate rehabilitation treatment across all facilities within the network.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Completion of two (2) years postgraduate medical experience in an Australian hospital setting
  • Demonstrated excellent and competent evidence-based clinical skills in general Medicine and Surgery, and the ability to exercise safe clinical judgment in a work environment with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated teamwork within a multidisciplinary team and/or Inter-disciplinary team, time management and problem-solving skills in a complex clinical environment
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills and conflict resolution skills in a clinical setting
  • Preparedness and ability to work independently in a supervised environment
  • Demonstrated interest and undertaking in Quality Activities and/or Research and willingness to teach Junior Medical Staff
  • NSW Driver's Licence (Unconditional)
