We are seeking an exceptional Automated Process Optimization Specialist to join our Operational Services & Optimisation team at AGL. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of energy production and distribution.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will act as the bridge between stakeholders and developers during the delivery and implementation of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and AI. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for automation projects.
  • Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for automation and process improvements.
  • Testing and Validation: Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to business requirements through rigorous testing of automation workflows.
  • Deployment and Support: Work closely with the development team to deploy automation solutions into production environments and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment between business objectives and automation initiatives.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently to resolve discrepancies, defects, incidents or problems with understanding of the business and system impacts.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude for learning and assists in evaluating multiple RPA technologies and helps in the selection process.
  • An IT development background or a bachelor's degree in information technology (or similar).
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on process improvement.
