We are seeking a skilled and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to spearhead step-change optimization in our manufacturing operations, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and safety through the implementation of new technologies and processes. This role was created to support our business growth and new product launches.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply Lean manufacturing principles to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, streamlining workflows and eliminating waste.
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, drive innovation, and enhance productivity.
  • Develop value stream maps, conduct time studies, and create detailed area layouts to optimize production processes.
  • Analyze cost benefits and evaluate business cases for new technologies and processes.
  • Consult with vendors to procure equipment, materials, or parts, ensuring timely delivery and seamless integration.
  • Utilize statistical methods to understand historical production and quality trends, informing data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience in industrial engineering and/or process planning, preferably in a production environment.
  • 2-3 years of experience in project planning, optimization, and implementation for processes, material flows, layouts, and production equipment.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, process development, and project engineering.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
