Job Title: Data Science Leadership Position

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Leader to join our Integrated Planning and Analysis team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead the development of our new planning application, Atlas. Working alongside a team of supply chain planners and data analysts, you will drive problem-solving scenarios, improvements, and insights to unlock system capacity and deliver on business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and develop optimisation planning application alongside external partners.
  • Draw on various data sources to conduct analysis across supply chain capacity impact questions.
  • Support analysis and assumptions review on key data sets as part of regular planning processes.
  • Apply classical and modern statistical techniques to provide insights on supply chain performance.
  • Drive project outcomes and timelines in both individual and team settings.
  • Develop and maintain supporting toolkits, including static capacity models and analysis processes.
  • Mentor peers in data analysis best practices and innovative ways of deriving meaningful insights.
  • Communicate insights and analysis outcomes to operations stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Previous experience in supply chain data analysis.
  • Advanced Python programming skills with Pyomo experience.
  • Understanding of mixed-integer programming (MIP) and model relaxation strategies.
  • Experience with Gurobi solver configuration and tuning.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Experience with collaboration tools & ticketing systems.
