Senior Data Science Leader

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science Leader to join our Integrated Planning and Analysis team. This new role will be instrumental in the ongoing development of our planning application, aimed at maximising supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and develop optimisation planning application alongside external partners.
  • Conduct analysis across various supply chain capacity impact questions using multiple data sources.
  • Apply statistical techniques to provide insights on supply chain performance.
  • Mentor peers in data analysis best practices and innovative ways of deriving meaningful insights.
  • Drive project outcomes and timelines, working individually or as part of a team.
  • Develop and maintain supporting toolkits, including static capacity models and analysis processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in supply chain data analysis.
  • Advanced Python programming skills, with experience using Pyomo highly regarded.
  • Understanding of mixed-integer programming (MIP) and model relaxation strategies.
  • Experience with Gurobi (or equivalent) solver configuration and tuning.
