Advanced Manufacturing Role

This position is an excellent opportunity for a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year apprentice to develop skills in state-of-the-art facilities.

The host organisation is a global company supplying to the printing, packaging and labeling industries worldwide.

We employ apprentices and trainees and place them with host organisations. We support all apprentices and trainees through regular visits to their workplace and TAFE.

  • You will also receive a nationally recognised qualification - Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Your Key Responsibilities May Include:

  1. Operating and adjusting production machines
  2. Running diagnostic checks and troubleshooting to identify problems in production
  3. Designing new components and systems using CAD/CAM systems
  4. Repairing machines and building components in repair of facilities

Requirements:

  • A minimum of year 11 schooling
  • Eagerness to learn new skills
  • A positive approach to workplace safety
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia
