Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dining Services Coordinator to join our catering department at Respect Aged Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our residents.

About the Role:

The Dining Services Coordinator will operate under the guidance of the Chef Supervisor, responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nourishing meals for residents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day food preparation, provision, and presentation to ensure excellent standards
  • Providing special dietary requirements for individual residents as specified by the dietician or clinical care team
  • Reporting stock requirements to the Chef Supervisor for ordering
  • Documenting, communicating, implementing, delivering, and monitoring the Food Safety Program in partnership with the Chef Supervisor
  • Maintaining a clean and non-cluttered work environment and promoting safe work practices among catering staff
  • Planning and carrying out daily workload in an organised and professional manner
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A certificate relevant to the role (e.g., Certificate III Hospitality – Commercial Cookery)
  • A current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire)

Desirable qualifications include experience in residential aged care and hospitality.

Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum
