Job Title: Inventory Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Controller to join our team at BevChain, a subsidiary of Linfox. As a specialist in beverage supply chain solutions, we support major customers across Australia, including leading beer, wine, and spirit brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate inventory usage and storage requirements at the site, aligning with company budgets and plans.
  • Report daily to the Inventory Manager and work towards increasing company profitability through efficient inventory management.
  • Participate in daily cycle counts and annual stock takes to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting information from mainframe systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality stock purchases.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations and investigations to address variances and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Create and maintain a safe work environment, promoting injury-free workplace behaviors.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with exceptional negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, with expertise in WMS and Microsoft Excel for reporting.
  • Analytical and methodical approach, with strong influencing skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with self-motivation and a can-do approach.
  • Ability to drive results and processes, while effectively managing people to follow processes.
