Job Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled data professional to lead our analytics efforts and drive business growth through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop predictive models, optimisation algorithms, and other data-driven solutions to enhance advertising and retail analytics capabilities.
  • Build and optimize semantic search solutions using embeddings (e.g., BERT, Sentence Transformers), vector similarity (e.g., cosine similarity), and related AI models.
  • Design and deploy integrated solutions using foundational-AI (e.g. Google Gemini).
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate business requirements into analytical projects.
  • Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning or AI.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and key NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, HuggingFace Transformers, scikit-learn).
  • Hands-on experience with embedding models (e.g., Word2Vec, BERT, Sentence Transformers) and semantic similarity techniques.
  • Strong statistical analysis, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP, AWS).
  • Knowledge of retail-media or digital advertising ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
