We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic caregiver to provide personalized care to our clients in their homes.
As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults by helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently. They will also be required to have relevant qualifications and experience in aged care.
Responsibilities- Providing personal care and support to clients in their homes
- Assisting with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, and medication management
- Cooking and food preparation for clients
- Transporting clients to appointments and social engagements
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Relevant Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- At least 500 hours of professional home care/aged care experience
- Full driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current first aid certificate and CPR
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Paid travel and mileage reimbursement
- Work phone and uniform provided
