About the Role

ALS is seeking a skilled Inspector to oversee the inspection of vessels at our Port Pirie location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our services, while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the inspection of incoming ships and monitor quality and safety compliance
  • Manage workflows and liaise with clients to ensure effective project delivery
  • Monitor and review quality, safety, and productivity statistics
  • Perform maintenance of equipment and ensure compliance with QWI, NATA, and ISO requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a port environment
  • Ability to work shift work and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy and local knowledge of Port Pirie
