Engage and Inspire: Lifestyle Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled lifestyle professional to join our team in delivering exceptional care and experiences for residents. This rewarding opportunity is focused on making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, fostering engagement, and promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized lifestyle programs tailored to individual needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Lead and participate in the delivery of activities that promote socialization, creativity, and physical activity.
  • Conduct thorough and accurate lifestyle assessments of residents, identifying areas of strength and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure timely and complete documentation of resident participation and engagement.
  • Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver high-quality activities and services.
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and volunteers, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.
  • Facilitate opportunities for residents to engage with the broader community, promoting social connections and a sense of belonging.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming principles and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant/Coordinator position (or similar), including dementia care.
  • Experience using computerized care management systems and excellent computer literacy skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
