Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as a People Focused Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on complex employee relations matters.
  • Ensure the human resources function operates efficiently and all processes are accurate and legally compliant.
  • Oversee the learning and development program for the business.
  • Maintain and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement of services and business processes.
  • Participate in and/or coordinate a range of HR projects and initiatives.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum Diploma level qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing team members and creating a positive people-focused and business outcomes-driven culture.
  • Demonstrated experience and sound understanding of the legislative and industrial framework that applies to human resources management.
  • Proven ability to deliver people-focused initiatives and services that drive engagement including change management, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, recruitment and selection, employee wellbeing and engagement, and learning and development.
  • Effective collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to engage and partner with key stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
  • Ability to relate to and communicate with people at all levels to navigate complex change initiatives, drive engagement, and achieve a positive workplace culture.
  • Commitment to transparent, people-focused, and data-driven decision making and with a proven ability to provide advice that is timely, respectful, and fair.
  • Local Government preferred with a Full Driver's license.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum depending on experience and location.
