Clinical Psychologist Position

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Child Protection & Advocacy Services team. This role will involve working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, including court jurisdictions, to deliver forensic psychosocial assessments, psychological therapies, and other interventions.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate individual who can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality services to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility across assessment, therapy, and urgent intervention roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and produce high-quality reports.
  • Provide direct psychological services to children, adolescents, and their families affected by trauma.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia within an Endorsed Area of Practice: Clinical.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and producing high-quality reports.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility across assessment, therapy, and urgent intervention roles.
  • Experience in providing direct psychological services to children, adolescents, and their families affected by trauma.
