This key role requires effective communication with clients from diverse backgrounds and needs, serving as their primary point of contact during the initial settling-in period. The successful candidate will work alongside staff to provide direct care, assisting residents in their daily needs and supporting Homemakers in building a strong team culture. By coordinating and facilitating quality education, this individual will empower the entire care team, promoting the rights and privacy of our clients according to relevant policies and legislation.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Coaching:
  • Develop and deliver targeted educational programs tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with staff members to create a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Assess and address knowledge gaps, ensuring comprehensive understanding of Inspired Care principles.
  • Operational Processes:
  • Work closely with care staff to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Monitor and report on progress, providing insights for future development.
  • Client Management:
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their families through empathetic communication.
  • Conduct assessments to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Develop personalized care plans that cater to individual requirements.
  • People Leadership:
  • Empower staff to take ownership of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to support career growth and development.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Organisational Responsibilities:
  • Participate in organizational initiatives to drive change and improvement.
  • Engage in quality assurance processes to ensure excellence in care delivery.
  • Represent the organization at community events and partnerships.
  • Professional Responsibilities:
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills in aged care and related fields.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies.
