Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Quality Monitoring Program Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a recreational water quality monitoring program across 25 inland water sites in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive water quality monitoring program.
- Manage daily requests for scientific information and advice to support regulatory decision-making.
- Provide data and information on requests for scientific information to identify trends, emerging issues and needs, and enable performance reporting on the provision of science services.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental sciences or a related discipline.
- Experience in one or more of air, noise, odour, contaminated environments, waste, water, human health, or chemistry sciences.
- Experience in scientific data management.
