Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our risk and compliance efforts. As a Risk & Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's risk culture and governance structures from the ground up.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing FinTech company in the consumer lending space. You will work closely with senior leadership to define the organization's risk appetite and ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate will have strong risk and compliance experience in financial services, ideally in consumer lending. Proven leadership skills and a pragmatic, commercial approach to managing risk are essential for this role.

  • Design, maintain, and oversee risk and compliance frameworks across credit, operational, conduct, data/privacy, and reputational risk.
  • Work with senior leadership to identify, assess and manage business risks.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior leadership.
  • Promote a proactive, risk-aware culture across the business.
  • Build and lead a high-performing risk and compliance team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on regulatory and governance matters.
