Senior Financial Risk Manager

We are seeking a Senior Financial Risk Manager to join our dynamic team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to lead responsible lending decisions that support customers and business growth.
You will be responsible for assessing and underwriting equipment finance applications in line with credit policies and authority levels, conducting financial analysis and preparing detailed credit submissions for retail and key account customers.
Additionally, you will analyze portfolio trends to identify and mitigate credit and capital risk exposure, recommend alternative finance structures to achieve optimal outcomes for the business and customers, and review and maintain credit limits, conditions, and securities for key account facilities.
You will also ensure compliance with credit policies, legal, regulatory and privacy requirements, liaise with legal counsel to prepare and finalise security documentation, and collaborate with collections to identify and escalate early signs of financial difficulty.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, asset finance or a senior credit underwriting role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
They will possess strong financial acumen, with demonstrated expertise in interpreting and analysing financial statements, and proven ability to lead, mentor and influence others across cross-functional teams.
