About the Role:
The Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator is responsible for implementing return-to-work programs across various business units, supporting injured workers and meeting legislative requirements.
This key role serves as a liaison between the worker, their recovery and returning to work, offering flexibility in days/commencement/finish times.
Key duties include:
- Compiling initial incident notification information to report to workers' compensation teams.
- Engaging with referring doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Coordinating workers' recovery at work, including identifying suitable work arrangements.
- Maintaining injury and recovery at work statistics for end-of-month reporting and statutory purposes.
- Promoting the benefits of good work and safe work processes.
- Contributing to the improvement of relevant policies and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Victorian WorkSafe accreditation.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in a Return to Work role.
- Previous experience in claims management, return to work coordination, workers' compensation or injury management.
- A sound understanding of the Victorian Workers' Compensation system.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety and Workers' Compensation legislation.
