About the Role
This is a senior leadership position that will shape the future of Melbourne's iconic public and cultural landmark, Fed Square.
The successful candidate will oversee operations, assets, and the annual capital works program at Fed Square, driving strategy, managing property and tenancies, and ensuring the precinct delivers outstanding cultural, commercial, and community outcomes.
This role requires a rare combination of strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on operational leadership. The successful candidate will work across cultural institutions, hospitality partners, tenants, contractors, and government agencies to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the safe and sustainable operation of Fed Square by overseeing property and tenancy management, contract oversight, asset and facilities management, and delivery of the annual capital works program.
- Balance strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership to drive the success of the precinct.
- Ensure compliance obligations (OHS, Building and Environmental codes) are met for the safe and sustainable operation of this iconic public space.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in senior leadership positions with expertise in operations, property or asset management.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, project or facilities management are highly regarded.
- Strong commercial and financial skills are essential.
